Job summary

Arcadis, the world leader in sustainable design and engineering, seeks a Senior Architect for its Chandler, Arizona Semiconductor Sector. You will lead design and coordination across complex projects, guiding junior staff while ensuring quality, code compliance, and integrated delivery with engineers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
• Licensed Architect required.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in architecture, with senior-level experience.
• Experience with A/E or EPCM firms, preferably supporting industrial, semiconductor, cleanroom, laboratory, or advanced manufacturing facilities.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, construction documents, code compliance, and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with attention to detail.
• Ability to lead technical efforts, mentor junior staff, and work across teams.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Enscape, Photoshop, Bluebeam, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Working knowledge of international building codes; industrial facilities experience preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, technically complex environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced architectural design principles and practice-based standards to contract documents.
• Provide senior-level expertise in design layout, code analysis, material selection, specifications, detailing, and technical reporting.
• Evaluate and apply building materials and systems for complex industrial/high-tech facilities.
• Lead development of design presentations, drawings, and construction documentation.
• Coordinate with project engineers, internal teams, and external stakeholders for integrated delivery.
• Manage architectural scope across multiple concurrent projects, meeting deadlines and quality expectations.
• Mentor Architects/Designers and developing staff.
