Job summary

Clark Nexsen, a JMT Company, seeks a Senior Architect I to lead architectural design on complex commercial and government projects. You will guide design development, mentor staff, and collaborate with project teams from concept through construction administration.

You will bring NAAB-accredited degrees, licensure in at least one US state, and strong leadership to drive quality across disciplines. A hybrid work model is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Architecture with NAAB accreditation.
• Fully licensed Architect in at least one US state; NCARB reciprocity preferred.
• LEED AP or other sustainability certifications encouraged.
• NCARB certification preferred to facilitate licensure.
• CDTs/CCCs encouraged to reflect professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design across multi-discipline teams on complex projects.
• Mentor and supervise architectural staff and interns.
• Direct and coordinate design development through construction documents.
• Engage with clients, consultants, and AHJs to validate scope.
• Support marketing and business development activities.
