Job summary

Elizabeth Roberts Architects, a Brooklyn-based architecture and interior design firm, seeks a Senior Architect to lead complex projects from concept through construction. You will oversee design, drafting, coordination with clients and consultants, and manage project timelines and budgets.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience, a Bachelor of Architecture, and expert proficiency in AutoCAD and Rhino.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of architecture experience in a collaborative environment.
• Bachelor of Architecture is required.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Strong detail orientation and organizational skills.
• Extensive experience with construction documents and administration.
• Experience with historic NYC residential work and zoning codes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate design concepts from initial meeting through construction.
• Oversee project management, schedules, and budgets, including junior staff.
• Design and drafting duties across projects.
• Prepare and present client meetings and presentations.
• Coordinate with clients and project consultants.
• Oversee filings with local jurisdictions.
• Participate in construction administration and change orders.
