Job summary

Monolithic Power Systems, Inc. is building a team to extend our automotive product line from power to connectivity. This role leads the Automotive sub-line and collaborates with design and application teams to define next-generation automotive network ICs.

The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of automotive networks (A2B, 10Base-T1s/100Base-T1) and proven cross-team collaboration skills to drive testing, customer discussions, and promotions within R&D, sales, and marketing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering field.
• Deep understanding of automotive network features and block-level implementation.
• Experience with A2B audio bus, 10Base-T1s and/or 100Base-T1 in automotive apps.
• Experience designing or defining A2B bus in automotive applications.
• Familiar with automotive EMI/EMC/ESD needs for ICs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a systems perspective.
• Excellent cross-team collaboration with R&D and sales.

Responsibilities

• Define the next generation automotive network ICs with design and application teams.
• Discuss feature sets with customers and influence system/app architecture.
• Guide AE, FAE, and Marketing for testing, support, and promotion.
