Job summary

Monolithic Power Systems, Inc. in Farmington Hills, MI, seeks a Sr. Applications Engineer with a strong background in automotive power management to support ADAS, infotainment, and telematics applications. You will develop solutions, drive design wins, and collaborate with customers, design engineers, and field teams.

You will promote ICs, author technical material, and travel as needed to support key customers and projects. A MS/PhD in EE and 5+ years in power management hardware is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain deep understanding of automotive applications (ADAS, infotainment, telematics, lighting).
• Own support for assigned customers and build relationships with customer engineers.
• Develop customized solutions and reference designs.
• Author articles and whitepapers; contribute to trade publications.
• Evaluate and debug new ICs; analyze failures and report root cause.
• Provide technical training to field teams and customers.
• Occasional domestic and international travel (10-20%).
