Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. is seeking a Communications Systems Architect to define and execute a networking technology roadmap for automotive networking products.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, work with FPGA designers to prototype networking functions, and lead the design of protocols for audio, video, and data transport. The role involves modelling in-vehicle networks and contributing to standards engagements.

Qualifications

• Minimum BS in Electrical, Communications or Computer Engineering.
• MS/E E or MSCE and 5+ years of experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Ethernet-based protocols and related standards.
• Experience with network modelling tools and simulation.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and technical teams to define technology roadmaps for ADI’s automotive networking products.
• Work with FPGA designers to develop prototypes of networking functions/products.
• Lead design of new protocols for audio, video and data transport, and conversion between protocols.
• Model performance of in-vehicle networks, including QoS and clock recovery.
• Support standards engagement by contributing to standards-development organizations.
