This position is located in the Facilities and Business Services Unit of the Administrative Division and is responsible for monitoring construction and design activities related to capital outlay projects for current and future homes.

Statement of Qualifications

T he SOQ serves as documentation of your ability to present information clearly and concisely in writing. In your SOQ, describe your experience, knowledge, and competencies as they relate to each of the items listed below. • Explain your experience with a healthcare project or assisted living facility with 24-hour care. What were the unique challenges?
• Describe your experience with plan check/back check processes. Identify, either SFM or HCAI type review and explain the process.
• Explain your experience with SFM, DSA, HCAI, and other AHJ’s. Give an example of a project that required an exemption, include the AHJ involved and the code cycle it was designed under.
• Describe the process for requesting fee proposals from an A/E retainer contract. How do you confirm scope of work and review hours per phase?
• Describe the process of confirming as-built conditions. How do you collaborate with your team, A/E firms, facilities and AHJ’s. How does your knowledge and experience facilitate project implementation.
