This position is located in the General Services Department of the Veterans Home of California - West Los Angeles and is responsible to plan, coordinate, organize and direct the operations of the transportation department and to coordinate resident transportation to various appointments.

Possession of a drivers license valid for operation of any bus designed to carry more than 15 passengers, any single vehicle with three or more axles, any such vehicle towing another vehicle weighing less than 6,000 pounds gross (Class B or above). Must participate in random drug screen and DMV pull program and comply with queries related to the U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
Veterans may qualify for a CalVet Veterans Hiring Preference. Military service must be included in the Employment History section of the Employment Applications (STD. 678).
