Job summary

ERM is seeking a Managing Technical Consultant, Archaeologist to lead multidisciplinary cultural resource projects across the United States. You will oversee teams, guide client relationships, and help grow ERM’s presence in the cultural resources market.

The role requires a graduate degree and 8+ years of experience, with strong consulting skills and the ability to travel across the country. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and an inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Anthropology or Archaeology, or closely related field.
• Demonstrated ability to carry research to completion.
• Demonstrated ability to obtain archaeological permits and conduct surveys/ excavations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee literature reviews, field reconnaissance, surveys, and excavations for archaeological studies.
• Provide technical consulting to grow ERM’s archaeology and cultural heritage business.
• Lead teams across the country and mentor personnel.
