MARS Builder Solutions is seeking a Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist to support roofing operations in Escondido, CA. You will manage billing, apply payments, and lead collections for a fast-paced project-based environment.

The role emphasizes accuracy, collaboration with project managers, and ensuring timely revenue recognition through NetSuite and adherence to contract requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in accounts receivable or a similar role.
• Experience with invoicing, cash application, collections, and reconciliations.
• Proven ability to manage a high-volume aging portfolio.
• Strong Excel skills with pivot tables and lookups.
• Solid understanding of AR accounting principles and GL impact.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate and issue invoices through NetSuite based on completed work and change orders.
• Apply payments, resolve short pays, and reconcile AR with the GL.
• Manage collections for builder and contractor accounts and resolve disputes.
• Support month-end close and improve AR processes.
