Job summary

Tractian is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst - AR to own the end-to-end order-to-cash engine. You will design, instrument, and automate the process, managing key accounts and ensuring billing accuracy across hardware and software offerings.

You will collaborate with Finance, Sales, CS, and Operations to improve DSO, reduce aging, and optimize cash flow. Hybrid work in the Atlanta area is supported.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in accounts receivable, billing, collections, or order-to-cash finance.
• Experience designing and implementing AR processes with measurable impact.
• Strong experience with NetSuite; familiarity with CRM/CPQ and AR automation tools.
• Experience billing for hardware + software models is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the order-to-cash architecture from close-won to cash application.
• Ensure billing integrity reflecting quantities, pricing, terms, and contract lengths.
• Develop a segmented collections strategy with automated and named-tied approaches.
• Establish credit review at sale and manage bad debt reserve methodology.
• Resolve disputes with Sales/CS/Operations and shorten resolution cycles.
• Own AR tech stack roadmap; drive automation to reduce headcount growth.
• Build AR dashboards and support month-end close and audits.
• Create process playbooks and train Sales/CS on billing hygiene.
• Maintain compliance with sales tax and nexus across states.
