Job summary

CHA Consulting, Inc. seeks a Senior Aquatic Designer/Business Development professional to lead design efforts for pools, aquatic spaces, and related facilities.

Based in Raleigh/Charlotte/Houston/Orlando with opportunities across the Southeast, you’ll guide projects from concept through construction while nurturing client relationships. You’ll manage drawings in REVIT, AutoCAD and Civil 3D, mentor junior designers, review contract documents, and support proposals and business development

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering or related field required.
• Minimum of 12 years in document production, client development, QA/QC in aquatic engineering.
• Proficiency in REVIT, AutoCAD, Civil 3D and MS Office preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and collaborative work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Lead aquatic design from concept through completion and cultivate client relationships.
• Oversee creation of drawings using REVIT, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D; ensure quality and consistency.
• Supervise junior designers on project drawing production.
• Analyze contract documents and drawings for errors; revise to meet specifications.
• Support development of technical reports, estimates, and schedules.
• Participate in QA/QC and coordinate deliverables to clients.
• Lead and assist in preparing proposals and business development activities.
• Identify and develop new business leads through research and outreach.
