Job summary

Riverence Provisions seeks a Farm Manager for our Idaho operations, overseeing all farm activities, life stages of fish, and daily production; you will train and supervise a team and coordinate with the Director of Farm Operations to meet safety and quality standards.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and fish husbandry expertise, with the ability to work flexible hours and travel between company farms as needed. This is a full-time exempt position.

Qualifications

  • Leadership ability and supervisory experience.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Experience in fish health practices and production operations.
  • Knowledge of recordkeeping and organizational skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in agricultural science, fisheries, marine biology, aquaculture, or business preferred.
  • Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all farm operational activity.
  • Manage life stages of fish.
  • Schedule and supervise day-to-day farm activities to ensure efficiency.
  • Train and supervise team members.
  • Safety training and incident reporting.
  • Maintenance and repair of facility, vehicles, and equipment.
  • Monitor operational metrics and benchmark against plans.
  • Participate in farm-based audits of production standards.
  • Maintain accurate records and compliance with regulations.
  • Travel between company farms as needed.
