Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in agricultural science, fisheries science, marine biology, aquaculture, and/or business with experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of fish health practices such as disease diagnostics and common treatment practices is preferred.
• Computer knowledge, recordkeeping, and organizational skills.
• Exemplary attendance and good work ethic.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated ability to schedule and complete tasks efficiently.
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in written form.
• Ability to communicate in English in order to adhere to safety standards.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all farm operational activity.
• Oversee all life stages of fish.
• Schedule and supervise day-to-day activities of the farm and ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
• Train and supervise team members.
• Conduct safety training and incident reporting.
• Maintain facility, vehicles, and equipment through cleaning and maintenance.
• Monitor operational measurements and benchmark against plans.
• Participate in farm-based audits of production standards.
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and maintain records.
• Become proficient with the company database program and reports.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and third-party certification requirements.
• Travel for education and training as needed.
