Job summary

Amazon’s Prime Video technology group seeks a Sr. Applied Scientist to own end-to-end product and user experiences, with emphasis on multi-modal modeling, contextualized ranking, and scalable recommender systems.

You will drive applied science initiatives, collaborate with engineers, and mentor colleagues while delivering state-of-the-art content presentation and discovery experiences for millions of Prime Video users.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building machine learning models for business applications.
• PhD or Master’s degree with 6+ years of applied research.
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language.
• Experience with neural deep learning methods and ML.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional science initiatives spanning recommender systems, generative AI, multi-modality, and CV apps.
• Bridge science and engineering for production-scale deployment; write production-ready science code.
• Mentor and develop technical talent in applied science methodologies and best practices.
