Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Lead Applied AI Engineer II in the US to drive end‑to‑end AI/ML solutions with a hands‑on approach. You’ll mentor teams, set technical standards, and collaborate with product, engineering, and customer teams to deliver value.

You will work across multiple languages and frameworks, delivering scalable, quality software using modern AI/ML tooling, while advancing the SSDLC lifecycle and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience with modern frontend/backend stacks and AI/ML applications.
• 3+ years hands-on GenAI experience with LLM integration and vector databases.
• 3+ years cloud-native engineering across Azure/AWS/GCP.
• 1+ years mentoring teams and establishing engineering standards.
• Experience with multi‑agent/AI frameworks and SDLC practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, testing and deployment of AI/ML solutions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver customer value.
• Mentor engineers and drive engineering standards adoption.
• Architect scalable, maintainable software across stacks.
