Job summary

Deloitte is seeking an AI Security Senior Consultant to join the Cyber Strategy & Transformation team in the US. You will drive governance and risk management for AI deployments, shaping controls and policies, and coordinating with data, infra, identity, and application security practitioners to translate strategy into implementable requirements.

You will guide junior practitioners, lead workstreams, and engage with clients to deliver risk assessments, roadmaps, and governance artifacts for AI

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or Risk Management.
• 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity, risk, or technology consulting, including AI/ML experience.
• Experience with AI/ML concepts, including model development, training, fine-tuning, retrieval-augmented generation, and agentic architectures.
• Experience applying AI risk frameworks (NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, OWASP LLM Top 10, MITRE ATLAS, EU AI Act).
• Experience conducting risk assessments, gap analyses, or maturity assessments and producing governance artifacts.
• Ability to travel 25-50% on average; limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery and current-state assessments of AI cybersecurity controls governance, risk management and security practices.
• Facilitate workshops with security, risk, data science, legal and business leaders to surface AI risk concerns.
• Develop AI risk registers, control frameworks and maturity assessments aligned to standards.
• Translate strategic recommendations into roadmaps and coordinate with teams on implementation details.
• Draft governance artifacts, policy templates, and AI security awareness materials.
• Own a workstream within a broader engagement and support client demonstrations and pursuits.
