Job summary

Deloitte’s AI & Data team in the Government & Public Services practice seeks an AI & Data Engineer II to advance analytics, ML model development, and data pipelines for cybersecurity and operational technology use cases.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable analytics solutions that support mission objectives while maintaining rigorous data quality and security standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Active Secret security clearance required.
• 3+ years of experience with data modeling, Jira, machine learning, Python, and SQL.
• Ability to travel 25%, on average, based on work and clients served.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain operational technology cyber data ontologies for analytics, detection, and reporting use cases.
• Build, train, test, and maintain ML models for OT cyber threat detection.
• Design and maintain data pipelines moving sensor and telemetry data to cloud platforms.
• Analyze cyber data to identify patterns, anomalies, and indicators for security operations.
• Collaborate with leads, delivery teams, SOC stakeholders, cloud and data teams, and program management to implement scalable analytics solutions.

Work you'll do

As an AI and Data Science Engineer II on the AI & Data team, you will:

• Develop and sustain operational technology cyber data ontologies that support analytics, detection, and reporting use cases
• Build, train, test, and maintain machine learning models for operational technology cyber threat and attack detection
• Design and maintain data pipelines that move sensor and telemetry data from on-premises environments to cloud platforms
• Analyze cyber data to identify patterns, anomalies, and indicators that support security operations and mission objectives
• Collaborate with technical leads, delivery teams, security operations center stakeholders, cloud and data teams, and program management to implement scalable analytics solutions
