Job summary

Google Inc. is seeking a Senior Applied AI Agent Developer to lead the deployment of advanced generative AI agents for strategic customers. You will be embedded with key accounts, building, deploying, and optimizing sophisticated AI agents on Google’s platform.

You will work with product teams to accelerate customer success and shape future AI products. This role emphasizes hands-on coding, tooling, and direct customer impact with a high-visibility, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with Vertex AI, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Dialogflow.
• Experience in prompt development, model evaluation, and creative application of AI.

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with select strategic customers to design, co-develop, debug, and deploy custom conversational AI agents and solutions.
• Act as a high-level problem solver, write bespoke code, develop custom tooling, and contribute to core product codebase to resolve critical customer issues.
• Systematize learnings from customer engagements by creating reusable tools, accelerators, and best practices for organization-wide use.
• Serve as a feedback loop to core product and development teams, synthesizing field insights to influence product strategy and feature gaps.
• Provide technical guidance and best practices to customers on agent improvements, performance tuning, CI/CD pipelines, and production readiness.
