Google's Senior Staff Engineer for Developer Intelligence will architect the AI developer platform, defining multi-year technical outlook across Vertex AI, autonomous agents, and Cloud infra. You will drive standards for agent isolation, performance, and cross-team collaboration to align initiatives with Google Cloud strategy.

The role emphasizes leadership, architecture, and mentoring while advancing production-scale AI tooling and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development.
• 7 years of experience leading technical project strategy, ML design, and ML infrastructure.
• 5 years of experience with design/architecture and launching software.
• 2 years of experience with GenAI techniques or related concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design the end-to-end AI developer platform and roadmaps for modular tools, agents, and Cloud infra.
• Advocate for agent communication standards and robust isolation primitives for untrusted code.
• Set performance and latency standards and lead architecture reviews.
• Mentor engineers and promote deep technical expertise across Google Cloud.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to align cross-organizational initiatives.
