Job summary

Google is hiring Staff Applied AI Agent Developer to lead end-to-end design and deployment of advanced AI agents for strategic customers. You will contribute to core product code, build custom tooling, and deliver scalable AI solutions on Gemini Enterprise.

You will work with Vertex AI, Dialogflow, and other Google AI products to drive customer value, while collaborating with product and engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience testing, and launching software products, and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
• 5 years of experience with one or more of: speech/audio, reinforcement learning, ML infrastructure, or specialization in another ML field.
• Experience with core GenAI concepts (LLM, multi-modal, large vision models) and text/image/video/audio generation.

Responsibilities

• Partner with strategic customers to understand challenges and design, co-develop, debug, and deploy custom conversational AI agents.
• Act as a high-level problem solver, write bespoke code, develop tooling, and contribute to core product codebase.
• Create reusable tools, documentation, accelerators, and best practices from customer learnings.
• Provide feedback to Product and Development teams to influence strategy and identify feature gaps.
• Offer expert guidance on agent improvement, performance tuning, CI/CD pipelines, and production readiness.
