Job summary

Google is seeking a Senior Applied AI Agent Developer to lead the deployment of sophisticated AI agents for strategic customers. You will write bespoke code, develop tooling, and contribute to core product areas to accelerate value delivery.

The role includes shaping best practices, building reusable solutions, and collaborating with model builders to push AI adoption and success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with speech/audio, reinforcement learning, ML infrastructure, or related ML field.
• 5 years of experience with ML design and ML infrastructure (model deployment, evaluation, data processing, debugging, fine tuning).
• Experience with core GenAI concepts (LLM, multi-modal, large vision models) and with text, image, video, or audio generation.

Responsibilities

• Design, co-develop, debug, and deploy custom conversational AI agents for strategic customers.
• Contribute to core product codebase to resolve critical customer issues.
• Create reusable tools and accelerators; document learnings for broader use.
• Provide technical guidance on agent improvement, performance tuning, and production readiness.
• Synthesize customer feedback to influence product strategy and identify feature gaps.
