J T in Fort Meade, MD seeks a senior Applications Engineer (Level 4) to design software tools, lead enterprise applications engineering, and sustain mission-critical security tool suites. You will guide full lifecycle development and deployment within secure GovCloud and Enterprise IT environments.

The role emphasizes vulnerability/gap analyses, COTS/GOTS integration, and comprehensive technical documentation for government evaluation and AoA processes.

Qualificações

• Security clearance: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Extensive experience monitoring, maintaining, and upgrading enterprise security tools and databases.
• Ability to conduct gap analyses and evaluate cybersecurity products.
• Experience designing GUIs/web interfaces and data ingestion pipelines.
• Leadership in QA, ECPs, and end-user training.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design, implementation, and sustainment of software subsystems for Enterprise IT and IC GovCloud.
• Monitor and patch security tool suites to ensure 24/7 readiness.
• Conduct vulnerability analyses and AoA to inform government evaluations.
• Author Technical Analysis packages and Engineering Change Proposals.
• Coordinate testing and deployment with external system owners.
• Provide guidance to task personnel and perform cost/schedule estimates.
