J&T Business Consulting seeks a senior Systems Engineer (Level 4) in Elkridge, MD, to drive high-level system architecture, modernization, and secure integration for defense and intelligence systems.

You will lead architectural trade-offs, support cloud and platform engineering, and help integrate AI/ML workflows into secure operational environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams and customers.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph within the last 5 years.
• Extensive experience in complex systems engineering and architecture.
• Ability to translate mission requirements into scalable designs.
• Strong stakeholder communication across multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect and integrate large-scale systems across lifecycle phases.
• Engage with engineering teams and stakeholders to capture requirements.
• Evaluate performance, identify bottlenecks, and drive modernization.
• Collaborate on cloud engineering, platform design, and MLOps pipelines.
• Ensure architectures meet classified security and IA mandates.
• Support data workflows and end-to-end system interoperability.
