Onto Innovation is seeking a Senior Applications Engineer to lead development, validation, and deployment of advanced inspection solutions across its product portfolio. This role serves as a technical leader within the PLC Applications Development organization, driving product readiness, application innovation, customer adoption, and technology commercialization.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical, Optical, Materials Science, Physics, Computer or Chemical Engineering or related field with 5+ years in semiconductor inspection or related areas.
- Alternative: Master’s with 2+ years in semiconductor inspection or related fields.
- Ph.D. in related discipline with applicable experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead development and validation of advanced inspection solutions across Onto Innovation’s product portfolio.
- Partner with multidisciplinary teams to transform emerging technologies into scalable customer solutions.
- Drive New Product Introduction, benchmarking, and roadmap validation across wafer inspection and advanced packaging.
