Job summary

Synopsys seeks a pre-sales Applications Engineer (FAE) for Interface IP opportunities across Korea. You will partner with Sales to drive technical discovery, POC planning, and IP solution definitions for PCIe, SerDes, DDR, USB, MIPI, and Ethernet.

You will translate customer needs into actionable engineering requests, deliver compelling technical presentations, and align with product roadmap while supporting competitive positioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field with 12+ years of experience.
• Strong hands-on ASIC/SoC design/verification experience.
• Experience in Interface IP domains (SerDes, PCIe, DDR, USB, MIPI, D2D, Ethernet) and customer-facing pre-sales.

Responsibilities

• Own pre-sales lifecycle for Interface IP opportunities across Korea.
• Work with SoC architects to define IP solutions and deliver POC plans.
• Lead IP evaluation, define success criteria, and drive technical close.
• Coordinate with Sales to shape win strategies and timelines.
• Drive customer engagements, architecture workshops, and design reviews.
• Support proposals with technical content for RFI/RFP.
