Cadence Design Systems in California is seeking a Senior Applications Engineer to provide pre-sales support for High-Speed Interface IP (PCIe, CXL, Ethernet) and to demonstrate performance through demos.

You will collaborate with IP Sales, Marketing and R&D to win opportunities and grow into senior roles, with a hybrid work policy and opportunities across data centers, mobile devices, automobiles and consumer products.

Qualifications

• BS in EE/CE or MS in EE/CE or equivalent with 2+ years of relevant experience
• Leadership and initiative to manage pre-sales accounts
• Excellent presentation and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Technical pre-sales of High-Speed Interface IP (PCIe, CXL and Ethernet)
• Present Cadence IP portfolio to prospective customers
• Collaborate with IP Sales, Marketing and R&D to win opportunities
• Provide quick-turn technical support to customers and field teams
• Write application notes/publications
• Travel to customer sites occasionally
