Job summary

Synopsys, Inc. is seeking an experienced Applications Engineer specializing in Memory Interface IP to lead complex customer engagements, including integration, bring-up, and deployment of DDR, LPDDR, HBM, and Controller IP.

You will work closely with customers and internal engineering teams to diagnose silicon bring-up issues, provide hands-on problem solving, deliver technical guidance and enablement, and help drive adoption of Synopsys solutions across teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of industry experience with Memory Interface IP such as DDR, LPDDR, and HBM
• Hands-on experience with silicon bring-up, lab debug, and post-silicon problem solving
• Proficiency in Linux, Verilog and/or VHDL, and relevant ASIC development environments
• Strong communication and collaboration across customer and internal teams
• Experience with DDR5, LPDDR6, MRDIMM2, HBM4, PCIe, Ethernet, and UCIe protocols

Responsibilities

• Lead complex customer engagements for the integration, bring-up, and deployment of Memory Interface IP including DDR, LPDDR, HBM, and Controller IP
• Drive technical resolution of significant customer issues across design environments
• Serve as a key interface between customers and internal engineering teams to align on requirements and accelerate adoption
• Deliver technical presentations, training, and enablement to strengthen customer understanding and deployment of Synopsys solutions
• Create and improve technical documentation and collateral for product usability and scalability
• Provide expert insights to product and engineering teams from customer feedback and field experience
• Stay current with evolving interface and memory protocols such as DDR5, LPDDR6, MRDIMM2, HBM4, PCIe, Ethernet, and UCIe
• Support customer engagements globally with travel up to 15-20% depending on location
