Job summary

Citi is seeking an Apps Development Senior Group Manager - Director in Jersey City, NJ, a hybrid role overseeing multiple teams that develop and implement complex applications. Lead architecture decisions, ensure compliant practices, and present progress to senior leaders.

Requirements include 15+ years in the field, 8-10+ years in management, and strong financial product knowledge. Bachelor’s or higher degrees are required; MBA and PMP are preferred qualifications.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant experience.
• 8-10+ years of managerial experience.
• PMP Certification, MBA, Specific to business Licenses and other.
• Experience with financial products.
• Working knowledge of the industry and competitors’ products and services.
• Advanced knowledge of strategic direction of the function within relevant part of the business.
• Proficient computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Office applications.
• Demonstrated leadership, management, and development skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage/develop multiple teams of professionals to accomplish established goals and conduct personnel duties for the team, and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Prepare and present regular team/project reviews to senior management and business leaders.
• Drive design and development of system architecture with end users to improve deliverables quality.
• Monitor budgeting, planning, policy formation, and contribute to future strategy of areas.
• Ensure changes are controlled and documented, including regulatory reporting requirements.
• Lead disaster recovery planning, testing, and operational readiness.
