Qualifications

• Progressive experience in application development and engineering leadership in regulated financial services.
• 8-10+ years of managerial experience leading multi-disciplinary teams.
• Architecting enterprise-grade platforms with governance and standards.
• Hands-on cloud experience with AWS or Azure.
• Programming languages include Java, Python, TypeScript, or COBOL.
• Designing integration architectures with TIBCO, Kafka, or MuleSoft.
• Containerization with Docker and Kubernetes at scale.
• CI/CD practices with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD.
• Relational and NoSQL databases experience.
• Observability with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK or Splunk.
• Mentoring engineers and engineering managers.
• Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks and cloud ML services.
• Strategic alignment of engineering roadmaps with enterprise goals.
• PMP, MBA, or equivalent credentials.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple teams to achieve goals, manage performance and hiring.
• Provide architectural vision and enforce technical standards.
• Present regular reviews to senior management.
• Drive system architecture design and ensure quality deliverables.
• Ensure compliance, policy adherence, and proper documentation.
• Manage budgeting, planning, and future strategy for areas.
• Oversee regulatory reporting requirements and controls.
• Resolve issues and escalate to senior management when needed.
• Lead disaster recovery planning and testing.
• Present updates to local and global stakeholders.
• Define best practices and ensure transparency across teams.
• Assess risk in business decisions and uphold Citi's standards.
• Foster accountability and professional development across staff.
