Job summary

The Applications Development Senior Group Manager at Citi in Jersey City leads multiple engineering teams to deliver approved application systems and programs. You will set vision, drive architecture, manage budgets, and ensure regulatory compliance across projects.

Responsibilities include presenting reviews to senior leadership, guiding staff development, overseeing disaster recovery plans, and aligning team efforts with Citi’s strategic objectives and risk controls.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant experience.
• 8-10+ years of managerial experience.
• PMP Certification, MBA, Specific to business Licenses and other
• Experience with financial products.
• Working knowledge of the industry and competitors’ products and services.
• Advanced knowledge of strategic direction of the function within relevant part of the business.
• Proficient computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Office applications.
• Demonstrated leadership, management, and development skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple teams to accomplish goals and handle personnel duties.
• Prepare and present regular team/project reviews to senior management and business leaders.
• Drive design and development of system architecture and collaborate with end-users.
• Monitor budgeting, planning, policy formation, and future strategy.
• Ensure compliance and manage risk with controls and documentation.
• Oversee disaster recovery plans and testing.
• Lead staff forums and communicate updates to engage the organization.
