Job summary

The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst at Citi in Tampa, FL, is responsible for participating in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs. You will contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities, and serve as SME to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities include feasibility studies, cost estimates, IT planning, and security considerations, while mentoring junior analysts and ensuring compliance with policies

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of relevant experience in applications development or equivalent.
• Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications.
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects.
• Familiar with consulting/project management techniques/methods.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Participate in feasibility studies, estimates, IT planning, and development of new or revised applications.
• Monitor and control all phases of the development process and provide user support.
• Analyze complex problems and evaluate business and system processes.
• Recommend security measures post-implementation for system integrity.
• Consult with users and other tech groups on solutions and installations.
• Define operating standards and coach junior analysts.
