Job summary

CHRISTUS Health is seeking an Information Services Lead to coordinate efforts across IS teams and oversee applications support, incident, problem, change management, and project delivery. The role demands self-starting leadership and the ability to operate with minimal supervision.

You will guide implementation phases, mentor analysts, and ensure high-quality outcomes while maintaining alignment with clinical and business goals. Some travel and extended hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred in healthcare, business, or information systems.
• Strong data presentation skills (charts, graphs).
• Ability to adjust to and implement change.
• Problem solving and multitasking abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Acts as primary representation in phases of implementation including build, configuration, testing, go-live support, and optimization.
• Leads team to deliver high-quality outcomes and adheres to standards.
• Coaches team members to tackle problems with proactive experimentation and creative thinking.
• Prepares clear status reports and coordinates information across stakeholders.
• Leads process and requirements analysis on complex projects.
• Organizes workload and mentors analysts while escalating issues as needed.
• Maintains knowledge of Epic modules and related documentation.
• Collaborates with application and compliance teams to design processes.
• Travel may be required and some extra hours may be needed during critical issues.
