Job summary

Sigma Defense is seeking an Application Systems Integration Engineer III to join our team in San Diego, CA. The Integration Engineer (IE) provides detailed integration solution analysis during the ASI Process and leads implementation of improvements.

The role requires 5–10 years of experience, security clearance eligibility, and proficiency with OpenShift, Ansible, PowerShell, Python, and IaaS/IaC tools. A Bachelor's degree is required, with the position offering a collaborative environment and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• 5-10 years of relevant experience.
• U.S. citizen required; clearance may be sponsored for right candidate.
• Experience with Terraform or other IaaS/IaC.
• Experience with tactical data feeds and multicast video.

Responsibilities

• Identify areas for improvement, innovation, and lead execution of improvement plans.
• Elaborate integration requirements gathered by the Application Engineer.
• Act as liaison between Network POR Systems Engineering/tester and application provider.
• Develop integration solutions and document HACSIM-related design updates and test readiness.
• Support application/system testing in lab and resolve integration issues.
• Participate in technical reviews and assist in development/revisions of specs and change notices.
• Maintain and validate engineering mockups of tactical network systems.
• Document repeatable processes and procedures for integrations.
• Manage integrations across AD/OpenAM, MS Exchange, VMware, AWS, OpenShift, IIS, Cisco, and Group Policy.
• Automate processes using PowerShell and Ansible with Git/BitBucket.
