Job summary

Sigma Defense in San Diego, CA seeks an Application Systems Integration Engineer II to lead integration solution analysis within the ASI Process. The role focuses on elaborate requirements, network/system integration, and CI/CD support for HACSIM and related tools.

The ideal candidate will have 3–10 years of relevant experience, strong experience with Terraform/IaaS/IaC, and the ability to obtain/maintain a Secret or higher clearance. A Bachelor's degree is required; US citizenship is mandatory.

Qualifications

• 3–10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as a Service or IaaS/IaC.
• Experience with integration with tactical data feeds.
• Experience with Multicast video.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Security+ CE or CISSP; one OS/platform cert: Linux, Windows, VMware or Cisco.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Identify areas for improvement, then lead execution of those plans.
• Elaborate integration requirements gathered by the Application Engineer.
• Act as liaison between Network POR Systems Engineering/tester and application provider.
• Develop integration solutions and HACSIM design documentation.
• Support application/system testing in lab and mitigate integration issues.
• Participate in technical reviews and update specs, SCNs, RFCs, ECNs, and FRCBs.
• Maintain engineering mockups of tactical network systems.
• Document repeatable processes for integrations.
• Manage integration points: Active Directory, OpenAM, MS Exchange, VMware, AWS, OpenShift, IIS, JBOSS, Cisco ICS, GP Management.
• Automate processes using PowerShell and Ansible; use Git/Bitbucket for script data.
• Contribute to CI/CD of HACSIM and HACSIM automation tool.
