Job summary

Sigma Defense Systems LLC in San Diego, CA, seeks an Application Systems Integration Engineer II to provide detailed integration solution analysis through the ASI process. The role requires handling CI/CD tasks, collaboration with network and application teams, and maintaining system documentation while supporting testing and deployment.

Qualified candidates will have 3–10 years of relevant experience, security clearance eligibility, and expertise with IaC (Terraform), OpenShift, Ansible,

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must possess or be able to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher (sponsorship available).
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Security+ CE or CISSP certification or equivalent.
• Experience with Terraform or other IaS/IaC.
• Experience with integration with tactical data feeds.
• Experience with Multicast video.

Responsibilities

• Identify areas for improvement, innovation, and simplification and lead execution.
• Elaborate integration requirements gathered by the Application Engineer.
• Act as liaison between Network POR Systems Engineering and application provider.
• Develop integration solutions and prepare HACSIM related design documentation and updates.
• Support application/system testing and mitigate integration issues.
• Participate in technical reviews and aid in revisions of specifications, SCNs, SCDs, RFCs, ECNs, and Fleet Readiness documentation.
• Maintain engineering mockups of tactical network systems.
• Document repeatable processes for integrations.
• Manage integration points across AD/OpenAM, MS Exchange, VMware, AWS, OpenShift, MS SCC solutions, IIS, JBOSS, Cisco ISE, and Group Policy.
