Job summary

Staffing Spot, Inc. is seeking an experienced Application/Production Support professional for our Dallas operations. You will provide L1/L2 support for business-critical applications, monitor health, troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and assist in deployments and post-deployment validation.

The role requires 8+ years of relevant experience, strong SQL skills, ITIL familiarity, and collaboration with development, infrastructure, QA teams. On-call rotation may be involved.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Application/Production Support experience.
• Experience providing L1/L2 support for business-critical applications.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases for data validation.
• Familiarity with ITIL/service management processes and incident management.
• Experience with deployment, releases, and post-deployment validation.
• Ability to coordinate with development, infrastructure, database, and QA teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 application support for business-critical applications.
• Monitor applications, jobs, interfaces, and system health.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents and production issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze logs and system behavior to identify issues.
• Write and execute SQL queries for data validation and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with development, infrastructure, database, and QA teams.
• Manage incidents, service requests, and problem tickets within SLAs.
• Participate in production deployments and post-deployment validation.
• Create and maintain support documentation and knowledge articles.
• Identify recurring issues and suggest automation opportunities.
• Participate in on-call/rotational support as required.
• Communicate effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders.
