Overview

This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States.

The Senior Application Support Analyst is responsible for supporting and maintaining the health of all Direct Bank applications and Azure DevOps environments.

Maintain Azure DevOps environments with hands-on skills in configuring CI/CD pipelines, updating variables, building automation steps, and other DevOps tasks. Assist with release management and building test cases using Azure DevOps.

Monitor and support Direct Bank infrastructure such as load balancers, servers, databases, network, firewall, and B2B partner connections, working independently or with support from other teams. Review and remediate infrastructure vulnerabilities as reported.

Provide Production Support for Direct Bank applications, including responding to ServiceNow tickets, root cause analysis, incident management, and communication. Support system monitoring and event management.

Support includes application code and configuration updates, software deployment, testing, and rollout.

Support internal procedures like risk governance, audits, and access management reviews.

Responsibilities
  • Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, including build, deployment, variables, and automation in Windows and Kubernetes environments.
  • Assist with release management in Azure DevOps across Windows and Kubernetes.
  • Understand application infrastructure components such as servers, load balancers, firewalls, etc., and coordinate with engineers responsible for their configuration.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks.
  • Communicate clearly and timely with management, IT staff, and business users.
  • Analyze and resolve critical errors or outages, maintaining focus during high-pressure situations.
  • Interface effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Coordinate disaster recovery testing.
  • Be flexible with after-hours or weekend on-call rotations as needed.
Qualifications

Required experience: Bachelor's Degree and 2 years in Computer Science or Analytics OR High School Diploma/GED and 6 years of experience.

Preferred experience: 5 years working with Azure DevOps deploying to Windows and Kubernetes.

Skills
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and release management.
  • Knowledge of application infrastructure components and experience with server and network requests.
  • Experience with monitoring tools like DynaTrace and Splunk, including automated alerts.
  • Managing server vulnerabilities remediation.
  • SQL skills for debugging and querying.
  • Banking operations knowledge or technical skills is a plus.
  • Experience supporting both in-house and SaaS applications.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow and CMDB.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and with attention to detail.
  • Proactive learner and self-starter.

This posting is active for 45 days, with possible extensions. Pay ranges from $95,000 to $127,000, depending on experience and location, plus potential bonuses and benefits.
