SAIC is seeking a highly motivated Senior DevOps Cloud Engineer and RHEL Specialistto join our CloudOne team on the Government A1 Enclave by CloudOne project. The Air Force A1 Enclave by Cloud One Program is an existing global, interconnected, virtualized hybrid, and IT infrastructure that hosts mission systems, applications, services, and data in support of DoD Services and Agencies. This position is 100% remote.

This candidate will be part of a team working with Government Stakeholders responsible for the dedicated Splunk Engineer design, planning, management, support, and oversight of the A1 Enclave CloudOne Infrastructure. The A1 Enclave team will configure and troubleshoot cloud, virtual, and physical hardware and software systems to proactively identify and resolve operational, tooling and process inefficiencies.

On-Call after hours support may be required for critical systems. The candidate will collaborate with the customer to determine root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration and provide principal level leadership.
• Support IaaS environments with RHEL systems engineering, administration, and maintenance.
• Utilize AWS services (EC2, EKS, S3, RDS) and manage AWS IAM.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for software development and deployment.
• Automate tasks to improve software delivery efficiency and reliability.
• Troubleshoot issues with Linux servers and CI/CD tools.
• Maintain and document Linux servers in production and development environments.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and quality assurance teams.
