Job Description:

Rangam Inc. is seeking a Senior Application Operations Engineer to support the City of New York – OTI. The selected candidate will be responsible for application deployment, production troubleshooting, service ticket resolution, and implementation of application enhancements with a focus on security, cloud technologies, and CI/CD pipelines.

This is a 12-month fully remote contract with possible extension based on performance and project requirements.

Client: City of New York – OTI

Responsibilities:

1. Deploy applications and manage operations in production and non-production environments.
2. Handle service tickets and troubleshoot application-related issues.
3. Enhance application security and performance.
4. Use AWS and Azure tools for triaging and observability.
5. Manage source control and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
6. Perform static and dynamic code analysis using quality and security tools.
7. Create and maintain technical documentation and participate in peer reviews.
8. Define requirements and deliver defect fixes and application enhancements.
