Job summary

DELO Industrial Adhesives LLC is seeking an experienced Application Engineer to work in the Greater Boston Area. You will develop customer-specific solutions and drive full process integration in high-tech markets such as semiconductor and optics.

You will collaborate with Sales Engineering to identify technical solutions, support equipment activities (UV lamps, dispensing systems), and travel as needed to advance customer projects across North America.

Qualifications

Location in or willingness to relocate to the Greater Boston Area (MA).
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree welcomed.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical environment, preferably as an Application Engineer in adhesives/semiconductor/optics sector.
Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems independently and systematically.
No prior adhesives experience required — comprehensive training provided at our Germany headquarters.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

Develop customer-specific solutions through to full process integration.
Identify and implement technical solutions in close collaboration with Sales Engineering team.
Support and manage DELO Equipment Activities, including UV LED lamps and dispensing systems.
Drive growth via technical consultations with customers across North America with Sales Engineers.
Systematically identify new technologies with Sales and Product Management and implement into customers' production processes.
Conduct feasibility studies and present results to stakeholders.
