Job summary

DELO is seeking a technically adept Applications Engineer to drive customer-specific solutions across the North American market. You will work with Sales Engineering to implement full process integration, support DELO Equipment activities (UV LED lamps, dispensing systems), and identify new technologies with Product Management.

Based in the Greater Boston Area, you will travel domestically and internationally, receive intensive training at our Germany headquarters, and collaborate with a global

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years in a technical environment, preferably as an Application Engineer in adhesives/semiconductor/optics/microelectronics.
• Solving complex technical problems independently and systematically.
• Training provided at headquarters in Germany; adhesives experience not required.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required.

Responsibilities

• Develop customer-specific solutions through full process integration.
• Collaborate with Sales Engineering to define technical solutions.
• Support DELO Equipment Activities, incl. UV LED lamps and dispensing systems.
• Provide technical consulting to customers across North America with Sales Engineers.
• Identify new technologies with Sales and Product Management and implement them.
• Conduct feasibility studies and present results to stakeholders.
• Maintain communication with DELO teams worldwide.
• Provide on-site, virtual, or phone technical support to sales engineers.
