Job summary

Prysmian Group in Highland Heights, KY seeks an Application/Specification Engineer to translate customer specifications into manufacturable solutions across the ISWH portfolio.

The role partners with Sales, Product Management, Manufacturing and Customer Service to support quotes, design interpretation, product launches and lifecycle management through continuous improvement and technical leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical or related engineering field.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specs and documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across functions.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Review customer drawings, specs and technical docs to develop new products meeting requirements.
• Create and maintain Bills of Material (BOMs) for quotations and production releases.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Manufacturing and Customer Service for technical support.
• Support ECN reviews and documentation during change processes.
• Serve as a technical liaison between customers and internal manufacturing operations.
