Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• 7-10 years experience with electro-mechanical power transmission products.
• AutoCAD experience or ability to learn AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with variable frequency drives and basic knowledge of industrial wiring.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Assist internal and external customers in the proper selection, use, and maintenance of NORD products.
• Complete assigned projects through the implementation of proper documentation and procedures to ensure products are correctly selected, manufactured, assembled, and tailored for specific applications.
• Documentation of product specifications for use by customer service, sales, and customers.
• Preparation of materials for training on Nord products or other industry-specific technical topics.
• Review, design, and calculate complicated applications and product modifications.
• Travel with sales team members to assist with technical presentations, discussions, and training.
• Perform field sales and service calls as required.
