Job summary

Donaldson is seeking an Application Engineer to provide comprehensive sales and technical support for OEM and aftermarket products. You will design equipment solutions that meet clients' technical requirements, industry standards, and Facet’s excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field (or equivalent work experience)
• 5+ years of applied industry experience focusing on pressure vessels, piping and pressure equipment design/manufacture
• Experience in the marine and/or power generation industry
• Familiarity with filtration and separation processes

Responsibilities

• Analyze EPC or refinery specs to size and design equipment and prepare quotations
• Interpret industry standards and customer specifications per project
• Prepare accurate cost estimates and manage quote/project files
• Collaborate with vendors and use Salesforce for quotes and sales data
• Support regional sales and service teams with technical expertise across Facet products
• Determine optimal equipment sizing based on customer applications and specs
• Promote Facet products and provide technical support to distributors and end-users
• Coordinate with production planning and drafting to ensure lead times and schedules
• Maintain timely, professional responses to stakeholders and seek value-driven solutions
