Job summary

Donaldson Company, Inc. is seeking an Engineer for the Current Products Engineering team within Industrial Air Filtration. You will support designs of industrial dust, mist, and fume collectors and collaborate with manufacturing plants and CAD designers to deliver robust products.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, 3+ years in industry, and familiarity with metal fabrication and manufacturing processes. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferred Mechanical or Civil/Structural Engineering).
• 3+ years related professional work experience in industrial or manufacturing industry.
• Experience with fabricated metal products, manufacturing processes and the downstream impacts of design decisions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain products through knowledge and application of engineering and filtration principles.
• Implement value added solutions such as new technologies, cost reductions and quality improvements.
• Perform engineering calculations, investigations, and assigned tasks.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing partners at our plants, suppliers, and CAD designers.
• Utilize Computer Aided Engineering systems to help evaluate designs.
• Ensure compliance with government and organization engineering standards.
• Provide technical support to Sales, Product Management, Applications Engineering, Field Service, Marketing, and Manufacturing.
• Prepare and present technical results and information in a clear and concise manner through drawings, specifications, reports, and oral presentations.
• Product testing, test setup, data analytics.
