Job summary

Henkel Adhesive Technologies in Rocky Hill, CT is seeking an Application Engineer to support a regional team. You’ll provide technical customer support for adhesives and equipment, guide trials, analyze data, and prepare technical reports while collaborating with Sales and Focus Market teams.

Ideal candidates have a relevant technical degree and 1–2 years of experience, strong lab and communication skills, and a hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset. On-site role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering/technical field.
• 1–2 years of experience, preferably with adhesives.
• Strong laboratory, analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and ability to interact with customers.

Responsibilities

• Become part of the North American ACM Application Engineering team, supporting a region and driving expertise for the unit.
• Provide technical customer support for adhesives and equipment, including troubleshooting and recommendations.
• Support customer applications trials, data analysis and technical report preparation.
• Troubleshoot issues to support retention and growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with Sales and Focus Market teams on target accounts and projects.
• Develop and execute application engineering projects to drive new opportunities.
• Report writing and product recommendations in lab or customer sites, following safety standards.
• Deliver technical training for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support demonstrations, trials and customer visits while maintaining safety and lab standards.
• Maintain technical documentation and contribute to product launches.
