Job summary

Information Technology Strategies, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Senior Application Engineer to analyze complex system requirements, design software tools, and manage software development using formal specifications and CASE tools for government and commercial initiatives.

The ideal candidate holds a BA/BS in a technical discipline, 10 years of relevant experience, and IT security clearance or NACLC; duties include supervising configuration management, estimating costs and schedules,

Qualifications

BA/BS in a technical discipline is required.
Ten years relevant experience required.
IT-II security clearance or NACLC required (U.S. citizenship, clean record).

Responsibilities

Analyzes and studies complex system requirements.
Designs software tools and subsystems to support software reuse and domain analyses and manages their implementation.
Manage software development and support using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, other accepted design techniques and Computer-Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools. Estimates software development costs and schedule.
Reviews existing programs and assists in making refinements, reducing operating time and improving current techniques.
Supervises software configuration management.
