Job summary

nou Systems, a defense-focused technology company, seeks a Senior Systems Engineer for IT Infrastructure & Applications. You join the TN SEA team in Huntsville, AL or Colorado Springs, CO to advance modernization efforts across data centers, legacy apps, and workload migrations, coordinating with cybersecurity and program management stakeholders.

You will apply left-side of the V model, develop target architectures, and produce briefs for senior leadership while supporting doD mission goals and

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a STEM field; alternative with 20+ years DoD experience
• 12+ years on missile defense or large DoD program/project
• Active Secret clearance; eligible for TS/SCI
• U.S. citizen required

Responsibilities

• Elicit, develop, and manage requirements for IT modernization with government stakeholders
• Baseline current-state environment via portfolio analysis and inventory
• Develop target-state architectures with diagrams and data flows
• Conduct AoAs and trade studies for legacy apps/infrastructure
• Plan data center consolidation and workload migration with risk analysis
• Apply V& models across acquisition lifecycle with traceability
• Prepare technical docs and briefs for senior government leadership
• Coordinate across cybersecurity, infra, applications, and program management
