Job summary

Citi is seeking an Application Development Technical Lead Analyst to lead the design, analysis, and implementation of advanced application systems. You will coordinate with the Technology team to deliver scalable software solutions and ensure alignment with business goals.

The role requires strong Java expertise, experience in system analysis, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of relevant experience in applications development using Core Java (multithreading/concurrency/collections/transaction management), Spring Boot, basic database concepts (RDBMS), Cloud concepts, Kafka/Mongo.
• Extensive experience in system analysis and programming of software applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead applications systems analysis and programming activities.
• Identify and implement necessary system enhancements in coordination with the Technology team.
• Consult with users and other technology groups to propose programming solutions.
• Apply fundamental knowledge of programming languages for design specifications.
• Identify problems and recommend solutions, exercising independent judgement.
• Ensure risk assessment and compliance with laws, policies, and ethical standards.
